


| Current Recording Sessions: September 13 - 25 (Kiev) On September 13, 2007, Maestro Winstin started recording sessions for the newest volume of the landmark series "MASTERWORKS OF THE NEW ERA" series with members of the Kiev Philharmonic. Excitement for this series of recordings has never been greater with over 625 media outlets world wide and expanded retail (Borders, Tower Records, Virgin, Best Buy etc.) and internet sales - including heavy support on digital download retailers like iTunes, Napster, etc. Stunning new works for film and for the concert stage by Derek Chambers (FILM: "Mrs. Brevis"), Eleanor Stuckey Bloom ("Concertino for Violin & Orchestra"), Milos Suchowsky (FILM: "Double Blind"), Michael Cunningham ("Counter Currents"), Yvonne Malins (FILM: "Three Months to Retirement") & Robert Jenkins Stewart ("Theme & Variations on a Theme by Weber"). Works for choir and vocalists (with & without orchestra or ensemble) included works by Jackie Glennis ("Three Pieces for Tenor & Double Bass"), Trevor Williams ("Songs of the Sacred Heart"), Gavin Theodore Williams, Jr. ("Songs from the 'Dictum Mobile'") & Ellen Thurber Johnson ("Wallum Sacrum Thor"). Recent Recording Sessions: July 20 - August 3 (Prague) On July 20, 2007, Maestro Winstin started recording sessions for the newest volume of the landmark series "MASTERWORKS OF THE NEW ERA" series with members of the Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra & Czech Philharmonic. New music for symphony orchestra was recorded in the first sessions. Composers recorded during these recording sessions were Albert Biales ("Reflections on Three Stage Designs"), Dinos Constantinidis ("Antigone Fantasy - Hymn & the Human Spirit"), Timothy Davis ("In Memoriam"), Wes Flinn ("Rational Exuberance"), Matteo Gerboni ("Musica No. 11"), Ulf Grahn ("Vid Ales Stenar"), Gregory Hall ("Water"), Robert Hardy & Willard Riley ("The Fifth Day" & "Rainbow Lake"), Joseph Rivers ("Echoes of War - Visions of Peace"), Evelyn Stroobach ("Aurora Borealis"), & Steven Winteregg ("Breathless"). The next several sessions were devoted to new music with vocalists, choir and/or combined with symphonic forces. New music was recorded of Thomas DeLio ("-en / l'espace de ..."), Alexander Safford ("Jauchzet Gott Alle Lande") & Jennifer Yoo ("A Prayer"). Recently Completed Sessions: May 19 - June 1 (Prague) On May 19, 2007, Maestro Winstin started recording sessions for the newest volume of the landmark series "HOLIDAYS OF THE NEW ERA" - Volume Two and the newest "MASTERWORKS OF THE NEW ERA" series with the Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra & Czech Philharmonic. Excitement for this series of recordings has never been greater with over 625 media outlets world wide and expanded retail (Borders, Tower Records, Virgin, Best Buy etc.) and internet sales - including heavy support on digital download retailers like iTunes, Napster, etc. The recording sessions encompassed scores for small chamber ensemble, SATB Choir, full symphony orchestra and full symphony, choir and soloists in grand forces. Music for small ensemble and/or SATB choirs came next with music by Amy Dunker ("What Cheer"), James Guymon ("Sanctus"), Stephen Louis Bayne ("Dona Nobis Pacem"), Rachel Guthrie ("Christmas Prayer"), Mark Dal Porto ("Spring, the Sweet Spring") & C. Edward Hupton ("The Lost Soul of Christmas"). Previous Sessions: February 18 - 28 (Kiev), March 1 - 9 (Prague) & March 17 - 21 (USA) On February 18, 2007, Maestro Winstin started recording sessions for the latest volume of the landmark series "MASTERWORKS OF THE NEW ERA". The first sessions were in Kiev, Ukraine with the legendary Kiev Philharmonic. Field ("fifty seven one" Sixteen Vocalists) Alexander Sternfeld-Dunn ("Joker's Wild" Chamber Orchestra & Trumpet solo) & Devin Maxwell ("PH1" Full Symphony Orchestra). Guest soloists with the orchestra were the legendary pianist Dmitry Tavanets, National Opera lead soprano Oxnaya Oleskaya, trumpeter Yuri Kolyna and American violist Sheila Brown. The second sessions were held in the Czech Republic with players from the Prague Radio Symphony & the Czech Philharmonic. Composers recorded were Andrew Rudin ("Chiaroscuro" seven players), Guilherme Schroeter ("Piano Concerto #4" Full Symphony Orchestra & Piano soloist), Arthur Gottschalk ("Fantasy Variations" Chamber Orchestra & Violin soloist), Clive Muncaster ("Reflective Thought Patterns" Full Symphony Orchestra), Peter Westergaard ("Ringing Changes" Full Symphony Orchestra), A.J. Anderson ("Scherzo Fantastique" Full Symphony Orchestra), Robert William Hardy ("The Fifth Day" Full Symphony Orchestra), Sam Daghighian ("Sinfonia" Full Symphony Orchestra), Andrew Feazelle ("Captain William Hilton's Journey" Full Symphony Orchestra) & Jacco Muller ("A La Luna" & "Zephyr Ash" Full Symphony Orchestra & Soprano soloist) Guest soloists in these sessions were pianist Alfred Kappell, violinist Pavel Kucera soprano Ania Vladislav. Composer Robert Hagenbuch, Jr. recorded his stunning "Overture of Crisis" with the Millennium Symphony in March in the USA as part of the Millennium Project: Made in the Americas project. Also included in the recording sessions were Matteo Gerbone's "Musica No. 14", Mary Anne Felden's "Lacrime", Holly Wilson's "Violin Concerto" and the score to the television series "Into the Fire". |
